Usha Mangeshkar

Playback Singer & Singing Sensation Usha Mangeshkar is the daughter of Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar & Shevanti (Shudhamati), younger Sister of Famous Singers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle. She is also the older sister of the very popular music director Hridaynath Mangeshkar. She toured extensively throughout the world. We were very fortunate to have her grace our shores in Trinidad in the year 1980 & gave magnificent performances at the Jean Pierre complex & Skinner Park in San Fernando. She sang many memorable film songs & Bhajans. Hey Ana Dhana Ki Maharani which came from the movie Laxmi Poojaa from the year 1957, He Maha Laxmi Maa & Mai To Aarti Utaru  are just a few of her very popular selections we grew up listening to, especially at Divali time. She is also famous for scores of Marathi songs. Throughout her singing career Usha Mangeshkar has given us many unforgettable timeless selections to enjoy for many many years to come.
