Keep the company of the good and saintly
Keeping good company can ultimately transform a bad person. But the evil tendencies of the wicked can never contaminate a saintly person. Likewise the beautiful fragrance of a flower can transform the soil, but the foul scent of the soil can never be transferred to the flower.
